IPL 2021, Punjab Kings: All you need to know about squad and full schedule – Firstcricket News, Firstpost

Punjab Kings (PK), formerly Kings XI Punjab, notched up five consecutive wins towards the end of IPL 2020, but eventually finished at the sixth position in the points table.

This year, in the first half of the season, they have so far been able to win just 3 games and have faced losses five times. Out of the remaining six matches, Punjab are required to win at least five to guarantee their place in the playoffs.

The second half of the league is never easy but this time the second half will feel like the first half with league divided into two phases thanks to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

Rahul and co will have to play out of their skins to make it to the last four and all eyes will be on the likes of Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Mohammed Shami. They hold the key to Punjab’s success in this season like always. They are currently placed at sixth on points table.
